These small decorative birds are hand carved and can be hung anywhere indoors.
Carved from Lime.
I use a straight knife and hook knife to carve the bird shape which is left with a tooled finish.
As they are hand carved each bird is slightly different.
Once carved they are painted with a blue milk paint. This is then rubbed back to highlight the tool marks.
Suspended on clear line.
